Many thanks Mr UK DX'er for the plug.

Both of the intended Medium Wave frequencies are a very bad choice.

A much better choice of Medium Wave frequencies would be 1539 or better still 1476KHz.

Trying listening on 1655 - splatter from strong Dutch on 1648. Music weak on 1655, couldn't make out speech.

This via web tuner in Bedford.

1593 & 1611 would be no better - both have DRM broadcasts on them.

Sorry can't be more positive

Have been trying too, 1655 has had various Dutch stations, some weak others stronger, hets, fm warbles, a mess as often is the case sadly. Went clear at one point but no UK station heard at all, sorry.

1648 is Mustang, 1665 Relmus? heard UK dxer mentioned. Other unids inc. 1633.5 all NL.

Agreed on 1611 and 1593, not suitable.

Would be great to have some UK activity on this band so hope some success can be achieved in the future.

Oscar.

Tried here also. Heard mention of Casablanca(?) on 1655 amid the mess. At least one other carrier on the channel at one stage.b

Sounded like the Bogusman to me ?
Weak signal into the SE.

i heard the bogusman on 1655 at 23-30 hrs over here on the south west coast.signal was weak with a het from another station on 1654 but it was definately the bogusman.i've heard he broadcasts from the midlands area so not that bad considering the tx was only a reported 50 watts.
