6210: Weekend Music Radio hoaxer. Playing old WMR shows. Dubliners song @ 1925, Jack talking about reception. Good signal but splash from Iran (on 6205) after 1930. SINPO 44433. Up to 54444 at 2040.

6324: Radio Vendor. "When A Man Loves A Woman" @ 1810, Dutch song then ID and email address at 1817. SINPO 34333.

6395: Radio Marconi. Dutch music @ 1915, off a minute later. SINPO 54444. Skyline giving him report. Weak-fair signal. SINPO 24332.

6947: Laser Hot Hits. Dave Simpson programme, Eagles track @ 1935. SINPO 44333.

Apologies, but the comment the other night was unsigned, but it is the hoaxer....

Remember they used to jam us as well, so its not a case of "imitation being the highest form of flattery", or whatever you want to call it. They are deliberately malicious.

Direction seems to be roughly the same as last time. It is amazing to hear some of the off air recordings that have been made via skywave. Some in particular were qrp in the woods.

Never knew there was some strange chappie somewhere with such an unhealthy obsession. It's been on air longer than most LBPs last!!!

come back jack. we love your programme,s. its nice of the hoaxer, to put out your old programmes. re live old wmr times.. was looking at some picts of your wmr transmitters, i have in my collection.you must dust off the cobwebs in that shack, get them old decks working. lets hear it from the real wmr..

Yeah, to right. WMR was one of the the best and most interesting stations on the bands and always attracted lots of listeners when it was broadcasting even though i suspect alot of silent listeners who were just happy and content to listen and not bothered with making contact with the station. you always had an audience Mr Russell.
