3904: Bogusman with a repeat of a programme he aired a week or so ago. Heard @ 2040 with the usual reflections on life and playing alternative music. Good signal but rapid fading. SINPO 44433.
6255: KBC v Lithuania with a show by Wolfman Jack, playing the Four Seasons @ 2243. Usual "mighty" signal. SINPO 55544.
6270: Radio Gloria (see comments) playing lots of 60s music, probably via an unknown station. Coming in with a fair to good signal @ 2025. SINPO 34333.
6310: Radio Romeo Echo playing "Ha, Ha, Said the Clown" from the 60s @ 2035. Fair signal but some SSB QRM. SINPO 33333.
6400: West Coast Radio playing rock music. Poor signal plus utility noise making reception very difficult @ 2140. SINPO 23332.

ReplyDeletepower is in the region of 200w on 76mb via a pair of TT21 valves with 900v on the anodes and these are modulated via a pair of 805s using a good old woden UM4 modulation tranformer.audio is fed to the tx via an orban optimod 9100b and the whole set up seems to be doing a good job throughout europe.
Thanks for the Logs , Paul

The unid on 6270 kHz was someone relaying a programme of Radio Gloria International.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that info, Bogusman and Mr Anon.
ReplyDeleteVincent, skip probably too long here for decent reception at that time on 6400.
