YES, it was Deliberate jamming of Underground by a coward who didn't give any ID.

Disagree totally. Underground's a good listen. I don't want to listen to non stop music, i can get that by other means. The jamming, if it was deliberate, was an unbelievably selfish act. It just meant i couldn't listen to what i wanted to.

underground is a great station to listen to.it has everything us free radio guys want to know about. Steve if you are reading this please dont get put off and go giving up on us.if we look on the bands over the weekend you can count the number of free radio stations broadcasting from the british isles on 1 hand.we need to support these stations before HF broadcasing really is a thing of the past.i dont think the jamming was deliberate.a lot of the dutch broadcasters leave their TXs on soak test just to keep themselves a free spot on the band.i have done this myself in the past.48mb has always suffered from clutter.maybe such stations should consider moving down to 5.8 especially with the way the sunspot cycle is at present.in my opinion its working much better than 48 at the moment.

According to Dr Tim's logs, it was Radio Merlin behind the jamming.

Have they got a grudge against Steve from Underground?

There are few enough British pirates on without them jamming each other.

We can't even blame the Dutch this time!!!

The best programmes are on the UK stations. Stations like Underground, WMR and Bogusman take time to put programmes together rather than just slap on a few records.

thanks for the support it wasn't paul from merlin that was just lazy logging on dr tims logs as paul was on 6305 on saturday and nobody got an id from the jamming anyway. I have a good idea where it is coming from it is from an area known for high power operators and every now and then they like to flex their muscles and jam out qrp stations their attitude is we have the power we do what we want. This has happened before to qrp uk stations. Thanks everyone Steve .

I enjoy radio underground and agree that a small minority of dutch stations give free radio a bad name power is not everything it about programme content of which underground , wmr , merlin and other uk stations provide and these jammers should be named by dutch stations if they know who's doing it. Keep up the good work yohan south netherlands.
