6210: Bluestar Radio with a strong signal @ 1928, playing Dutch music, splash from Iran on 6205 signing on at 1930. SINPO 54444. Moved at 1937 to 6310 but Northpole still on... SINPO 43443.
6220: Mystery Radio with pop @ 1935. Good signal, some splash from RTE on 6225. SINPO 44433.
6310: Radio Northpole playing dance music @ 1910, good signal. SINPO 44433.

why is it silly?

ReplyDelete3925 transmission is only 25w from a solid state high level modulated tx located in the midlands countryside. just goes to show you dont need hundreds of watts to put a decent signal. oh,as for the freq,that was the only available xtal at the time. the mk2 tx boasts full synth controlled operation in 1khz steps across the whole 76mb or 48mb. pics to follow shortly. (availabitity and priced at £150 per unit shortly) (bomb proof output stage,12v operation and a proper high level 110% capable modulator circuit) (modulation transformer) no series gate cheap toroids used here. built to perform. watch this space or checkout ebay shortly.
