Apologies, but the comment the other night was unsigned, but it is the hoaxer....
ReplyDeleteRemember they used to jam us as well, so its not a case of "imitation being the highest form of flattery", or whatever you want to call it. They are deliberately malicious.
Direction seems to be roughly the same as last time. It is amazing to hear some of the off air recordings that have been made via skywave. Some in particular were qrp in the woods.
Never knew there was some strange chappie somewhere with such an unhealthy obsession. It's been on air longer than most LBPs last!!!
WMR Jack
Band looking better for QRP again...
it's about time old jack got up in those woods, warmed up the valves and did a program for us all. come on jack, you know you want to..
ReplyDeletecome back jack. we love your programme,s. its nice of the hoaxer, to put out your old programmes. re live old wmr times.. was looking at some picts of your wmr transmitters, i have in my collection.you must dust off the cobwebs in that shack, get them old decks working. lets hear it from the real wmr..
ReplyDeleteCome on Jack! Are you a man or a mouse? (or nshould that be moose?)
ReplyDeleteYeah, to right. WMR was one of the the best and most interesting stations on the bands and always attracted lots of listeners when it was broadcasting even though i suspect alot of silent listeners who were just happy and content to listen and not bothered with making contact with the station. you always had an audience Mr Russell.
