Hi there, UK DXer.
ReplyDeleteFRS Holland was duly noted on Sunday evening.
It was a busy evening what with private European stations and true pirates crowding the bands. I was listening between 6pm and 9pm British time and heard:
6070 kHz- Channel 292
6085 kHz- Radio Mi Amigo
6150 kHz- (very faintly) Radio Marabu via Europe 24
6205 kHz- Laser Hot Hits, at one point playing an old recording of the shortwave mega-pirate Radio Fax from the eighties.
6240 kHz- UNID, continuous music, great signal.
6268 kHz- UNID, brief country music. Possibly Radio Abu Dhabi.
6280 kHz- Free Radio Service Holland, with Roger Davis (ex-Britain Radio Int.). Nice to hear Roger on the airwaves again.
6286 kHz- Radio Akenzo, some splatter from FRSH
6295 kHz- Reflections Europe. Religious "super-pirate" from Ireland.
6315 kHz- Radio Bogus Man. Indie and alternative rock.
6375 kHz- Radio Underground. Talk about compressor, lots of good music.
11845 kHz - Radio Mi Amigo International. Huge signal from the 100kW transmitter outside Sofia. Lots of offshore radio memories.
And on AM:
1602 kHz- Radio Seagull
1620 kHz- UNID. Weak but Dutch folk music.
1638 kHz- Radio Bluebird. Strong signal and IDs in English and Dutch.
1646 kHz- Radio Mexicana. Dutch polka type music and clear IDents.
