Heard 1548: Bogusman testing on 6450, weak but identifiable on Twente SDR. 50W.

  3. I did check 6450 but no audio here - just a tiny carrier. Strange conditions today!

Not agreeing about Technical Man : he was on 6194,8 heard here at 0941 UTC
with QRM/hum to another (Unid) station on 6195,0 that was already heard at 0902-0905.
At 1030, Tech.Man was still on 6194,8 but clear (no more hum).

Bogusman did well here in ireland, hammered in on the Mayo SDR. He Did jump around testing on a few frequencies, even on top of me at one stage lol! Eventually settled on 6450 and cranked it up with pretty wide bandwidth!

Cheers for the logs UK Dxer.

  10. You can also add to that Laser Hot Hits, with their usual Sunday of live programmes, getting out well right across Europe.

Also I caught Cosmic Radio with the best signal I've heard them - I don't know if that's down to propagation or a more powerful transmitter.

Also XTC made a rare appearance on 48m a few Sundays ago.

Nova - 6400 isn't a great frequency. There's a utility on 6398 plus North Korea in the afternoons.

According to this Ukrainian blog, 6398 is the Common & Precious II Pirate Beacon from Germany:

Yes, 6400 is a disaster, but when your stuck with a 6400 rock. I did intend to grab a few off ebay of various freqs but decided to go with a DDS module so giving my TX more frequency agility. Antenna is cut for 6400 so probably shift to 6390. We will see.

    Cheers.

Cosmic? Not heard of them. Good about XTC; Subterranean, WMR, and Armadillo get involved again!
