Congratulations. Things have certainly changed in the last decade! Does anyone know if BRI,WMR, Subterranean, Armadillo, etc, have completely given up or could one day make a return?
ReplyDeleteGood question? Maybe one of them will get the urge to dust off their transmitter and fire it up again - assuming they haven't sold it off.
ReplyDeleteThe websites for BRI (http://britainradio48.atspace.com/html/index.html) and WMR (http://www.wmrscotland.com/) still exist.
Are there any other stations listeners would like to see make a return to shortwave?
More of XTC; Station Sierra Sierra and Blackbeard.
ReplyDeleteI was driving near Wrekin Radio's location not too long ago. What became of them?
ReplyDeleteArmadillo still uses his transmitter quite regularly, but he now only seems to be relaying a couple of stations on the same frequency....will leave you to guess which ones though!
