There would have been a strong case for the purist argument 20 or 30 years ago (I felt the same) but now it doesn't make a lot of difference. I think stations with a pirate history ought to be included in this blog. Some of the content on 292/Shortwave Gold is very good, whilst some of the stuff on the pirate bands is incredibly dull. It's no big deal in the grand scheme of things!
Totally agree with the above comment. Also, don’t rule out these 2 nut cases mentioned not returning via a pirate outlet in the future. It may just happen.
Are there no pirate loggings for today? BTW, Channel 292 is licensed
ReplyDeleteYes, see above.
ReplyDeleteAt present the only way to hear Ghoul/Bogusman shows is via Channel 292
It's gone a bit like the HF Underground! And it's renaming the European Pirates Board to European Pirates Board AND Private Stations!
ReplyDeleteFFS
Licensed = 292 (etc) - Unlicensed = Pirates (Arrrr Matey)
It's not rocket science!

ReplyDeleteThis blog features "free radio" stations - some are pirates while others are ex-pirates. It's never claimed to be a blog purely for pirate stations!
ReplyDeletePerhaps inspired by the comments above and elsewhere, look who's back Saturday and Sunday night on 6070....
