Recently I heard Radio Sombrero from Finland with a weak signal. But I managed to get enough details for a reception report and today I received a QSL and info sheet in the post (just like the old days).
The station was founded in 2004, has a transmitter power of 10-15 watts and uses a traditional half wave dipole about 2 to 4 metres high.
Mr Sombrero also says he is now taking a break and will be back next summer. Thanks for the QSL.
