Radio Monique (pirate) was on 6285 kHz for a period around 14:00 UTC. Rock and pop music, and claiming that they were live from the mv Ross Revenge!!! English IDs with the presenter having a Dutch or German accent. High modulation giving a very listenable signal. Just before closing, a medley of pro-peace records was aired and the station urged people and free radio stations to join "pirates for Peace" network. They also aired the edit of the "Terrahawks" theme that the original offshore Radio Monique used to sign on and off with back in the middle eighties.
On the upper medium wave pirate band: Radio Witte Tornado on 1647 kHz with their usual strong signal and lengthy early evening programme of polkas and traditional Dutch easy listening music.
