3935: Radio Tornado (v. tent). I can just detect a very weak signal on 3935 @ 2140. If Tornado is still on ID would be via Alfa Lima postings. Another very weak signal detected on 3930 - just caught "0031..." so I guess it's Dutch. I see Marcel on Alfa Lima logged Rob 007 on 3929.8.

6220: Mystery Radio with dance music @ 2130. Fair signal but a bit of fading. SINPO 34433.

5720: Orion Radio heard playing Al Stewart's "Year of the Cat" @ 0835, mentioned On Air AM (who I couldn't hear here). SINPO 34333.

6265: Premier Radio Int @ 0940 with oldies. Fair but fading out. SINPO 34333.

6280: Radio Shadowman had strongest signal this morning. Heard @ 0930 playing "Funky Town," followed by ID. SINPO 44433.

6290: Radio Mazda with schlager @ 1115, ID at 1122 spelling out address. SINPO 34433.

6300: Voice of the Netherlands with Beatles songs @ 0950, followed by ID. SINPO 34333.

Very poor conditions today with no good reception of any stations so far today. Only by late afternoon did conditions begin to improve.

3940: Cupid Radio heard with rock music @ 2230. Fair signal but some fading. SINPO 34433.

6220: Mystery Radio with pop @ 1545. SINPO 33433. Also heard @ 2015 with a live show presented by Chris Ise playing dance music. Good signal. 44433. Andy Walker heard @ 2315 pumping out the tunes - signal still coming in well (44433).

6255: KBC v Lithuania blasting in tonight @ 2235 playing the Stars on 45 Beatles remix (remember that from the 70s!). SINPO 55555.

6268: ROZ with 80s pop @ 1450. Fair signal. SINPO 33433.

6276: Laser Hot Hits heard @ 1245 with oldies. Fair peaks but disappearing into the noise. SINPO 24332.

6295: Radio Quintus playing schlager @ 1500. Probably best signal this afternoon - peaking at good levels. SINPO 34333.

6300: Unid station playing country & western music @ 1505. Possibly Radio Blackbird but too much fading to get an ID. SINPO 33433. According to Bermudadreieck's blog, it was Radio Face de Blatte (RFB).

6325: Lycos Radio with schlager @ 1240. Caught an ID but signal poor-fair. SINPO 24332.

6401: Radio RP (tent) with schlager and oldies @ 1540. Signal struggling. SINPO 24332.

6220: Mystery Radio booming in again tonight @ 1810 with non-stop pop and jingles - peaking at s9+10db. The live shows from Chris Ise and Andy Walker seem to have dried up recently. Hopefully there'll be some more soon as they were always entertaining. SINPO 44444.

6255: KBC via Sitkunai, Lithuania blasting in tonight. Unlike last Saturday, no fade outs with the station hitting 9+20dB. Heard playing Dead or Alive "You Spin Me Round" @ 2220, and an invitation to join the KBC forum. SINPO 55555.

6265: Orion Radio playing rock and pop @ 0920. Good signal but a bit of fading. SINPO 44433.

6273: Laser Hot Hits with 60s music @ 1055. Weak signal that disappeared soo after. SINPO 24432.

6290: Radio Marconi heard playing a Billy Idol song @ 1620. Also announced email address (which couldn't quite catch...radiomarconi@....) and spelt out station name phonetically. Operator said was from north east part of the Netherlands. SINPO 33433.

6299: Radio Romeo Echo heard @ 1335 with polka and oldies. Weak signal with fair peaks. SINPO 24332.

6306: Radio Shadowman doing a short test @ 1905, playing a few pieces of music, ID, off (faded out?) by 1910. Strong signal. SINPO 44444.

Free radio wikipedia

Jonny of the Swedish Report Service has launched his latest project - a free radio wikipedia. The idea is that it will build up into a free radio resource listing stations past and present, offshore and land-based.

As he only unveiled it yesterday the wikipedia is looking rather empty but hopefully in time stations will visit and enter information about themselves. Free radio fans can also edit and add their own information, if they so wish.

3922: Radio Boomerang heard testing @ 1740, playing a mix of dance and schlager music. ID in English and Dutch @ 1755. Good signal (44444).

3925: Radio Boomerang very strong @ 2010 playing rock music. SINPO 54444.

6255: KBC v Lithuania @ 2215 - but almost a complete fade out on 48 metres so instead of the usual very strong signal, only poor-fair! SINPO 24332. By the time the station came to sign off @ 2300 the signal had recovered to 44433.
