Dear listeners,
this is just to remind you our weekly schedule:
- WEDNESDAY 20.00-22.00 UTC ON 6070 kHz
- FRIDAY 01.00-01.30 UTC ON 9955 kHz
- SATURDAY 01.30-02.00 UTC ON 11580 kHz

The first 30 minutes are devoted this week to the news for HAM and BCL "DX ITALIA DX NEWS", followed by "LA POSTA DEGLI ASCOLTATORI", the listeners' mailbox, with your August letters.
The second hour, on 6070 kHz, is occupied this week by "PANORAMA ONDE CORTE", news for BCL, and "History Hit", with music and news from 1978.

Inside our brodcasts we have some digital programs called "IBC DIGITAL" as follows:

FRS Holland 51mb test this evening

Dear FRS Friends,

First of all thanks to each and everyone sending us a mail/report/letter for our August 21st broadcast, some 2 weeks ago.
Soon we will be putting a little overview of that broadcast on the site. At the moment we do that, you will be informed by mail.
Of course we will do the best we can to answer all mail as soon as possible. No worries, FRS always replies to its listeners!
On Sunday September 4th, FRS will conduct a test broadcast within the 51 mb: most likely on either 5810 or 5855.
The 3 hour test will start around 18 UTC/ 20 CEST and will consist of a (partly) repeat of August 21st shows.
If you have time, give it a try and let us know about reception. Go tell your friends!

Marconi Radio Int broadcast moves to Thursdays

Please be advised that  as from September of this year, our weekly broadcasts from Wednesdays move to Thursdays.

Here is the schedule for the first Thursday transmissions of MRI on  1 September 2016:  
1600-1800 UTC  on 7700 kHz (USB mode), 
1815-1915 UTC on 15070 kHz (USB mode) 
1930-2130 UTC on 9300 kHz (USB Mode).

Our broadcasts include some kind of programmes now sadly missing from most shortwave radio stations:  an old style DX show in English “Italian Short Wave Panorama” (there is also the Italian version called “Panorama Onde Corte”) with lot of recent logs  as well as  a mailbag show (“La Posta degli ascoltatori”) in Italian. Our  station identification  announcements are not only in English and Italian but also in French, German, Romanian, Spanish and Catalan.

For the first time in our history a Facebook page about our station has been introduced. It is called "MRI World" and can be found at this web address: https://www.facebook.com/mriworld - Although it is still  far from being completed  you can leave your comments and suggestions.

MRI encourages reception reports from listeners. Audio clips (mp3-file) of our broadcasts are welcome! We QSL 100%. Our electronic mail address is: marconiradiointernational@ gmail.com - Please don’t forget to include your postal address as some lucky listeners will also receive a printed QSL card.

Last but not least,  we need your help! If you use social networks, please post an announcement on Facebook  or send out a tweet the day  before the broadcast. You can also forward this message to a friend. This should help increase our  potential audience.

We hope to hear from a lot of shortwave listeners about our transmissions.

FRS Holland tomorrow evening

Dear FRS Friend,

On Sunday August 21st (evening) FRS-Holland will hit the SW airwaves.
Programmes that evening will start at 16:52 UTC/ 18:52 CEST with no less than 5 hours of music and information.

FRS will offer varied programmes and no doubt it will be worth while tuning our way.
A thematic Sunday evening full of music, information and radio related items....the 'old fashioned' true sound of short wave free radio.

Frequencies will 9300//a 48 mb frequency (6200-6300 range). Tune in! Go tell your friends...
