FRS-Holland will be on air on Sunday November 2nd. The broadcast will start at 08.00 UTC/09.00 CET and close down will be at 12.00 UTC/13.00 CET. Of course we do hope propagation will be satisfactory that day.

6055: KBC via Lithuania signing on @ 2130 with the Wolfman Jack show, opening with KC & the Sunshine Band. Some splatter from other stations nearby. S9+10dB. SINPO 54444.

6300: Radio Golfbreker with non-stop polka @ 1510, ID finally came at 1546, giving out hotline number. Some utility QRM. SINPO 33433.

Halloween hunting

Joe Wood in Tennessee suggests we try listening out on Friday for American pirates:

He says: "The North American pirates usually pick up noticeably on Halloween, 31 Oct.

They usually start around 2000 UTC and keep it up all night. 6925 is still the best freq, but 6950, 6955 are still used on occasion.

If there is anybody on your side of the big water trying for one, it would bea great time to try.

With Halloween being on a Friday this year, the Pirates might be even more prolific."
