Part two of FRS Holland's Summer Splash broadcast tomorrow

Tomorrow (July 31) sees part 2 of FRS Holland's of the Summer Splash. Similar to last Sunday programmes will run from 19- 21 UTC/ 21- 23 CEST.

For latest news about frequencies please check  our website! Last Sunday we had to move twice. As 5800 was not available we were forced to switch to 5810. Then we moved to 5790 due to an annoying whistle. On 7700 there was a strong buzz with wide splattering. Therefore we used 7715 instead.

Our intention is to start on 7700//5800 but remember we might switch to adjacent channels if the situation occurs that a frequency cannot be used. Last but not least: we won't be using 6185 but are happy to announce instead the use of 3940 kHz. 6185 will again be used during part 3 of our Summer Splash on August 7th. Good listening!

FRS Holland's Summer Splash broadcasts

This Sunday (July 24) will see the kick off of the FRS Holland's 'Summer Splash' Event.

Two years ago, in the summer of 2020, saw the first edition of this event. 

FRS will be on air on three consecutive Sunday evenings. All programmes will be thematic, like we did in the past few years during the Summer period. Instead of full programming, each of these Sunday evenings will last two hours and will be aired between 19:00- 21:00 UTC/ 21:00- 23:00 CEST. 

Frequencies will be 7700//5800 as well as 6185 kHz. Important: on July 31st only 7700//5800 will be used! For the latest accurate info check our website. Of course there's also a streaming schedule.

Correct reception reports will be verified with one of our 9 QSL cards from the 'FRS Through the Years' series. Hard copies can be obtained via our Herten maildrop.
