British land-based shortwave station WNKR hasn't been heard much on the air recently. But station operator Dave Martin has now uploaded onto YouTube the story of the station's early days from 1987-1994.

A station's longevity doesn't necessarily qualify it as being particular listenable, the same going with certain 'evergreen' presenters; no names mentioned but the initials GS spring to mind...
