Hi mate.
Here in Bristol, heard this evening (September 11th):
6070kHz - Channel 292. Programme of gramophone records followed by DARC magazine show in German. 6150 kHz - Europe24. Fair signal for such a low power operation. German Idents and rock music, cutting off at 7.01pm.
And of the true pirates: 6205 kHz - Laser Hot Hits, good signal here. 6235 kHz - Mike Radio. English and Dutch, strong signal, mix of music. Lovely modulation. Off at 9pm. 6285 kHz - UNID Dutch pirate. Very weak signal, playing rock music. Identifying but name not caught. 6400 kHz - UNID. Weak signal. Continuous music.
I think Wrekin Radio closed a few years ago - I've seen nothing reported for a long time. Never an easy catch in the UK cause of their high frequency. I believe Reflections Europe is still using 12255 kHz on Sunday afternoons.
Thanks. Am on a bit of a nostalgia trip so have been wondering about back in the day UK stations. I see that WMR's website hasn't been updated for a while; hopefully Jack is alive and well.

Is Wrekin Radio International, formerly on 12 Mhz, still in existence?
