Early evening (mid evening in Russia) brought several illegal Russian radio "hooligans" going beyond the usual two way chatter and instead broadcasting long programmes of music:
2972 kHz with Russian pop music and easy listening. Great signal on the Tombov SDR.
3118 kHz with Russian lively old fashioned dance band type music. Very weak signal and lots of splatter from neighbouring channels within the 3 MHz "hooligan / pirate band".
Unfortunately Casanova is now licensed, and no longer qualifies for this blog :-(
