It is not just pirates logged here but also stations that fall under the "free radio" banner.
Seems to be 2 stations doubling on 6250kHz 18:44 BST, SDR Carlow, ROI, one is Radio Overdrive other one can't ID yet

a pirate is unlicensed but advertises. a free station is unlicensed and does not advertise.
In the free/pirate radio world, both are interchangeable. "Free" is how most unlicensed stations refer to themselves. "Pirate" is a label applied by the authorities, and so unlicensed stations have adopted the term much like the gay community adopted the word "queer".
