On Sunday November 9th from 09:52 -15:05 CET the complete anniversary broadcast will be repeated on 9800 kHz. And maybe on 5905 kHz, that isn’t decided yet.
What can you expect? A day full of surprises. We’ll present a number of entertaining and varied programmes with primarily music from the period 1980–2025. Several interesting topics will run as a common thread through the shows.
Sunday, November 2nd, 2025: FRS-Holland - 45 years of free radio on shortwave. It will be a broadcast not soon to be forgotten! Make sure you’ll be part of it.

For listeners sending a reception report/ letter to FRS’ P.O.Box 2702, 6049 ZG Herten in the Netherlands, we have a surprise: an unique ‘FRS 45 Years’ QSL card. It’s an A5 full colour double sided QSL printed on heavy quality paper.
And: we’re celebrating with a CD featuring highlights from the broadcast and a unique A3 poster. This full colour collage poster (60×40 cm) contains pictures representing the 1980- 2025 FRSH ear. It’s printed on premium quality paper and will become is a true collector’s item.
To cover our costs we kindly require 10 euro/ 10 US dollars for the complete package and 5 euro for QSL & sticker only.
