1206 kHz was noted active with non stop disco music (with breaks between each track) but no announcements, between around 2100 and 2230 UTC this evening, from a position on the West Wales coast. Presumably an Irish pirate testing. On the following night, Wednesday 24th, the same transmitter was emitting a carrier and short bursts of music, sounding like a broken CD player. It was not noted on subsequent nights.
