3915: Unid station playing music by Dutch group BZN @ 2135. Was on 3905 earlier. No IDs heard. SINPO 44444. Back on 3905 at 2155.

3924: Radio Fox 48 finally finding a clear frequency, heard @ 2220 playing Normaal. SINPO 34333 via Barney's web tuner. 

3940: Radio Underground heard @ 2215, with Steve talking about new QSLs and playing "Magic Fly" (better known as WNKR theme). SINPO 44433 via Barney's web tuner.

4015: Laser Hot Hits with oldies @ 1010. Good signal. SINPO 44333.

4101: WNKR on an unusual frequency @ 1940, playing a song by female vocalist, ID and email address then music by the Cheetahs. Good-strong signal. SINPO 54444.

6220: Mystery Radio with ID jingle and usual funk-pop @ 1710. SINPO 44433.

6295: Trans Europe Radio testing @ 0925, greeting listeners and playing oldies. SINPO 34333.

6295: Radio Condor with IDs and playing dance music @ 0950. Fair signal. SINPO 34333.

WNKR, I was just bored and playing 4100 was the only xtal to hand, 20 watts into a doublet antenna with open feeder at 25 foot above ground

a bog roll with an old kettle lead wrapped around it 9 times then a 200pf cap down to a treat..

thats sounds like a old jack, wmr ,type of rig.a bog roll. old kettle lead, ect..

i once had an old ex wmr rig down here in the shack.frightened the pissin life out of me it did.the main ht transformer was fixed to the chassis with celotape,the anode current meter was mounted on the top with evostick and yes,the pa coil was a bog roll.. had a right pisser off if when i attempted to tune the bugger up.think it's still lurking around up in the loft as the owner refused to take it back home with him after the dam thing nearly electricuted his pet cat.poor thing was found huddled in the corner shaking to death with it's fur standing on end after sniffing around that old 807 with that piece of tatty old bell wire strapped to the anode cap.poor thing!!!!

their are loads of storys about wmr.. i was told the one about the beer try rig. bet you could write a book on wmr storys.. you must get a wmr documetry out now.. we not had any for a long time. last one i know was about short wave pirates in 1992, told by mark stafford. i have
