Perhaps the hoaxer is someone who got sick of waiting for their QSL Card......

WMR has certainly started quite a debate. The only person who really knows who the hoaxer is ... is the hoaxer himself. Will he be reading this? Why does he do it?

There's 6 anonymous messages here but how many people have left messages. One, two or six??

The world of free radio is certainly not dull!

The hoaxer will be a person who enjoys the publicity and notoriety.
He will enjoy reading the postings about himself and his hoax antics,
that's why he does it. I haven't heard the hoax station as yet, but
in the past other stations have been re-broadcast with off air recordings, and they ALL have one thing in common, Jack knows about this and I have told him who I believe it is, but proving it is difficult.

That's my two penny's worth.

No appearance of the "hoax" on Tuesday as rumoured BUT I have it from a reliable source that it will be on tonight.....

As we have always said if he really wants to broadcast our shows then fine. But don't jam us!

I wonder if the hoaxer on 3945 on Saturday was the same operator as the previous hoax transmissions on 6400. The tape of WMR was a lot older than the previous ones played and this time the signal was much stronger.
