Laser on 6240 are saying that it's all down to WNKR that they are being jammed. Bloody idiots we never jam anyone. Laser are just paranoid fools and I wish they would stop saying these things.
Dave Martin.
Hi,
If you can check please my second audio file concerning R. Black Arrow/Blackbird. There is ID and spelling name B-E-I-L-E-N... I am not sure.
And about Radio Arctica. This was special transmission of people from Polar Circle area who want to call attension to the situation in the Arctic Region. Messages was in English and Russian language. All info is in this link: http://www.radioarctica.net.tc/
Merry Christmas Paul...
Hi Michal,
Yes, station spelling is BEILEN and your recording confirmed to me it was Black Arrow.
Radio Arctica sounded interesting. It was a pity the signal was not stronger here.
Just listening to Andy Walker talking on WMR (Dec 26).
He said Mystery was not broadcasting on Christmas Day so maybe it was someone else trying to jam Laser.
So much for goodwill to all men!
Correct. Mystery was not on air yesterday. I was told he was away for Xmas day and knew it could not have been him. It is however on air today (26th) with live programming.
It was Mystery Radio. I heard that jingle they use with the cackling woman laughing.
Mystery Radio were definately on 6220 to jam Laser on Xmas Day! I don't know what planet Dave Martin is living on. If you look on Alfa Lima you'll see other SWL's who logged Mystery being on that day. What does one expect from them, they only set up on 6220 in the first place to jam Laser and its been going on for years now!
how many frequencies does Laser need to use anyway?
they seem to want to own the sw bands and put out the same programmes on many different frequencies and clog up the 48mb at a weekend, why?
their web site says nothing about the 6220 frequency only 4025, 6422 and 6275.
Its because of all this jamming that Laser has had to start using more frequencies just so their programmes can be heard. If 6220 was left alone, Laser would have stayed on this channel as they did for over 10 years previously.
6220 was transmitting different live programmes over xmas but it seems a few jealous idiots were determined to spoil things by trying to jam it out. This is not what free radio is about.
6275 they only use on Saturdays and 6421 is outside the 48m band. 4025 is on a different band, just as many stations also have TX's on that band. There really isn't anything for anyone to complain about and no real excuse for the jamming.
