Great stuff .... interesting to hear about WNKR's early days.
Andy Walker was on the air recently on Crazy Wave Radio.
I just read a diary entry penned by my 17 year old self on April 27 1980. Apparently I was tuning through the wave bands just before 10pm and came across a test broadcast by North Kent Radio. This was from London N13. There must have been an invitation to send a reception report as that's what I did, but I note later in the diary that I never got a reply. It's not too late you know!
