Great link. Interesting to read the New York Times article on underground radio stations operating in Syria or beaming into the country from Turkey. And rather ironic that these clandestine/pirate stations have the backing of the United States government which takes such a dim view of pirate broadcasting back home.

I have not seen any reports as yet, but wonder whether the unrest in the Ukraine has seen oppositional movements take to the air to advance their message.
