Heard in Bristol today:
International stations:
Radio Taiwan International on 3945 kHz with a programme of C-Pop in French. I think the transmission is leased from RTL in Luxembourg.
Private, Independent stations:
Channel 292 on 6070 kHz with a programme of 1920s and 30s dance band and jazz type music. Then, after 8pm, a radio themed show from the German Amateur Radio league, the DARC.
Pirate Radio Stations:
Radio 319 (tentative) on 5800 kHz playing disco tracks, off at 7.45pm.
Mike Radio on 6210 kHz. Smashing signal from the Netherlands. Rock and pop, announcements and jingles in Dutch, English and German.
Radio Mi Amigo on 6220 kHz. Barely audible, but seemed to be a relay of the 24 hour Radio Mi Amigo internet stream. Laser had been occupying this channel and had cut off earlier in the day, so it *might* have been them testing.
Radio Victoria on 6240 kHz. Fair signal, rock songs and English announcements.
UNID on 6300 kHz. Strong signal with country music and some Dutch schlager songs.
Whilst online this evening, I have had on Sub-FM, with a good programme of seventies and eighties soul music. Long may it continue!
