I’m missing the 6290khz this week. Doesn’t seem the same on the band without that big signal being there. Can only listen these days via the online SDR’s because I no longer live in the UK or have any external antennas or SW receivers. Soon may it return.

48 metres seems empty without WMR.

Which of the WMR frequencies is NOT from Ireland but from the (licensed) Dutch station Piepzender?

None whatsoever.

That's because it is, unfortunately. Its glory days are long gone.

Also heard in the Russian "hooligan" band:

2970.50kHz. Illegal operator playing synthpop type music at 22:40 Moscow Time and continuing for a long while. Good signal and modulation received on the Tambov SDR.

The band does seem empty without WMR. But the glory days of pirate radio when the 48 metre band would be packed with pirates on a Sunday morning are long gone.
