Please remove the part of this post that mentions a potential location. I wish people would stop posting such details.

Absolutely. How stupid can one be. Why would you publish the location of the transmitter site on a public board?

It’s ridiculous! I noticed the same type of info on the Ydun medium wave DX site and asked them to remove it.

You should Never mention the transmitter location on any chat forums of a free Radio station.

Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and not allow anon comments on public boards with the type of non free radio people that infest these places. It is not just here that has little anon sneaks. But in normal life the place is full of jealousy, watching neighbours and looking up even car regestration details etc etc.... a hellish culture...

Huh. Same subject. remember the absolute brainless Finnish dxer I think he was who actually rang the Irish Communications place to ask about Coast, ..this was a few years ago. Another grass....

Thanks for removing SW DXer

Get over yourself!

Anonymous said...

Why did you remove SW Dxer?

Anonymous said...

It's still on there this evening

Why wouldn’t he remove it. Just put your brain in to gear for one minute and have a good think about the stupid, idiotic question that you’ve just asked. The original comment gave the actual (presumed) location of an unlicensed broadcast station. Now what do you think could happen if any official government bodies responsible for controlling the radio spectrum could do with that information if they read it on a public board? Have another little think about that please before you answer and make sure you really think long and hard about it, slowly and carefully. Write down all the reasons on a piece of paper if it helps you!!

They have refused to remove it. Totally irresponsible and ignorant to the risks of unlicensed broadcasting.

Why did you remove SW DXer? Remove him to where? Do you have unresolved anger/emotion issues?

Anonymous said...

But your comment is anonymous? You could be anyone.

I did not put up any post up.on medium wave site clear that issue up or report or to regulators not like that

Try telling that to the two short wave pirates that were raided by Comreg a couple of years ago. Etiquette dictates that you never reveal location details of an unlicensed transmitter!
