Friday night, 22nd August, Sluwe Vos Radio on 6205 kHz with a fair signal on a noisy band here in Bristol. 6320 kHz was a strong signal playing continuous music and not IDd.

It is very annoying when they don't ID.

Heh! Yes, I know what you mean. I think that there is a difference between British pirates and the Dutch ones in that there is more of a culture on AM pirate radio in Holland to just play a period of music and then ID at the end of a block of tracks. This is especially true of the stations that concentrate on polka and schlager music. The UK stations on the air these days are more inclined to do formatted programmes.

That said, I have in the past spent many a night in London, Birmingham, Bristol or wherever listening to FM pirate stations putting out jungle and drum and bass with heavy MCing and no hint of an ID....!!!!!!!!
