Radio Salad Bar??

Ha ha! Salad Bar. Not sure that's what Radio Sallandse Boer means in Dutch.... mind you, there was once an FM pirate station in Plymouth run by students called Radio Banana!

There was a station on 6280 kHz coming in at 11.50pm on the Twente Receiver, not ID'd by me, but named on the chat feed as Radio Mustang. And something weak on 6290.54 kHz which sounded like easy listening music. Very weak.

You will find a lot of Dutch pirates with "boer" in their name, as it is the Dutch word for farmer. Not sure about sallandse - maybe one of our Dutch speakers can tell us.

I not sure if they are still around but there used to be a Dutch pirate called The Farmers from Holland.
