we are going to alternate weeks between 7605 khz and 6800 khz.

I think the problem is that unless propagation is favourable, 7605 is not easy to hear in the UK. I did check the frequency today but nothing heard.

I know his signal often comes in well on the NW Ireland SDR but that is a popular receiver and can be hard to get on to, especially on a Sunday.

Stations like XTC and Merlin get plenty of feedback because they are on the 48 metre pirate band and when propagation is good (like today) can be heard by listeners in the UK. I know Steve has his reasons for using the higher frequencies but maybe he should try around 6.9 mHz ... Nova uses 6940 while The Vault is often heard on 6985. Premier Radio also broadcasts around there sometimes.

I did mention in the pirate chat this morning Pamela was on 7605 so hopefully a few of the German and other listeners further afield might have heard something.

it has been a long time since we used 5.7 area of shortwave, we used to get lots of reports for that area, even though we been using 7605 we still get good reports
