five freq, just like the BBC world service
Shame they are all relays though and not their own Transmitters.!!
Agreed. A station who broadcast a couple of times a year via the transmitters of others lacks free radio credibility, only in my opinion of course.
And what exactly is “free radio credibility”? Playing non stop music?
I suppose music programmes , interspersed with a bit of lively chat is acceptable when using your own gear!
Hi ,you dxer,s the 76 meter band is worth a check .3.890 khz up and above.Central Radio 3.920 khz at 1529 utc was log by the hf underground crew.
Question, Do the Five Relays , get paid for the relay.
Which is better?
A station with its own transmitter than just plays non-stop music with a few jingles or station who is relayed via another pirate but produces interesting programmes with chat, information and good music.
I know which I prefer.
Do all those with their own transmitters only play nonstop music? I think you're generalising, but each to their own.
As mentioned in my last blog post, 76 metres at Christmas time was often more interesting than 6 MHz. Is Central a UK station?
Why you want to know?
Does anyone still have copies of the FRSH magazine? I'm hoping some day to see scans since mine got lost with time
