Agreed. A station who broadcast a couple of times a year via the transmitters of others lacks free radio credibility, only in my opinion of course.
And what exactly is “free radio credibility”? Playing non stop music?
I suppose music programmes , interspersed with a bit of lively chat is acceptable when using your own gear!

Which is better?
A station with its own transmitter than just plays non-stop music with a few jingles or station who is relayed via another pirate but produces interesting programmes with chat, information and good music.
I know which I prefer.
Do all those with their own transmitters only play nonstop music? I think you're generalising, but each to their own.
As mentioned in my last blog post, 76 metres at Christmas time was often more interesting than 6 MHz. Is Central a UK station?

Does anyone still have copies of the FRSH magazine? I'm hoping some day to see scans since mine got lost with time
Did anyone catch the station on 6950 the same time Argus was on? They started on 6945 but then moved up after a few minutes

Radio Pamela doesn't play only non stop music 😔 and uses it's own Transmitters
Radio Corsair also has its own transmitter and does not play a non stop music format
