Another busy Saturday on 48 metres with many stations heard:

6210: IRF510 heard @ 1625 with rock and Halloween-type noises (spooky laughter etc). IRF (International Radio Friends) is a joint programme by On Air AM, Bermudadreieck, Crazy Wave Radio and a member of FRS Holland. Uses the SRS Germany address. SINPO 34433.

6220: Mystery Radio heard playing pop @ 1655. SINPO 44444.

6265: Voice of the Netherlands involved in QSO with WCR and Radio Titanic @ 1510. SINPO 34433.

6266: West Coast Radio with 80s oldies. Heard @ 1300 playing song from Dire Straits and Prince. Mentioned the IRF510 station. SINPO 34433.

6275: Laser Hot Hits. Regular Saturday slot now for Laser on this frequency. Heard @ 0805 with Dave Simpson programme. SINPO 34333.

6290: Radio Northpole heard @ 1250 playing oldies and ballads. SINPO 34433.

6291: Unid. Non-stop oldies @ 1600. No IDs heard. SINPO 33333.

6300: Radio Valencia heard signing off @ 1500. SINPO 34333.

6301: Radio Scirocco heard @ 0800 playing polka and giving out hotline number in Dutch, English and German. SINPO 34333.

6305: Radio Mazda. Long spells of country music and schlager with occasional IDs @ 1145. Good signal here. SINPO 44433.

6306: Unid. Song by Manfred Mann heard @ 1905 then faded out. SINPO 34333.

6310: Radio Rainbow. Non-stop oldies and occasional jingles. Ian Dury song heard @ 1630. SINPO 33333.

6401: Weekend Music Radio. Non-stop 80s music for most of the afternoon. Heard @ 1545 with SINPO 44444. By 1645, signal very strong, 9+20db! Jack Russell came on @ 1700 saying first time WMR on air for eight weeks.

Thanks for the WMR tip. Audible in New York too; Last time I logged WMR was over 8 years ago.

I'm amazed at the pirate catches yourself and Dave Valko get. We don't seem to hear the US pirates as well in Europe.
